CAPS Edmonton Director Wayne Lee was the major organizer, the host, and the entertainment at the recent 2011 CAPS Foundation evening held in Toronto. This was a tremendous evening in raising the bar and raising funds to assist the CAPS Foundation continue its growth and its ability to be there when our CAPS members might need them.
Bob Hooey, CAPS Edmonton President Elect, and CAPS Foundation Trustee was over the moon when he announced the final fund raising figures at the completion of this evening. He barely made it before the auction started due to flights. He was so pleased that he was able to be there to see the final result of all the hard work in putting this evening together.
This is the second successful foundation event in subsequent years. The evening in Montreal also raised over $35,000.
